Generally lighthearted in character, the pieces are very much like of a couple of monkeys (or in this case, a violin and piano) simply playing around. Composed as a gift to Jorge Avila for his fortieth birthday, this work is dedicated to him with gratitude and admiration. If you know Jorge, you probably know why I chose the title for this piece (or if you don’t know him, have fun guessing why).
